The community projects focus on three priority areas:
Training that drives the future
We contribute to the strengthening of the educational system in our communities through actions that generate real and sustainable impact.
We contribute to the improvement of the educational infrastructure through the provision of classrooms, technological resources and facilities, promoting adequate environments for learning and the integral development of students.
Training to the communities in:
- Violence prevention and culture of peace
- Environmental education and sustainability
- Getting to know the oil industry
- Entrepreneurship and local economy, among others

Well-being that is built together
Promoting integral health is one of the priorities in the territory where Gente Oil Ecuador operates. Therefore, we permanently support initiatives that strengthen access to medical services and promote a culture of prevention.
- We improved the infrastructure of the Sansahuari health center and provided materials and supplies for its operation, helping this key infrastructure to operate more efficiently for the benefit of the communities in our area of influence.
- We promote educational campaigns for prevention and self-care, we organize medical campaigns and primary care brigades, bringing essential health services to the most remote areas.
- We support, in case of emergency, with the Gente Oil ambulance to give support to high-risk situations that cannot be attended by the health center.
All these actions are developed in coordination with local authorities and with the participation of the community, under an approach of respect, collaboration and mutual commitment.
Health is a right and a shared responsibility. At Gente Oil Ecuador, we work with communities to ensure the present and future well-being of their people.

We foster the development of communities through actions that promote equity, participation and the strengthening of local services. Working to ensure that our operations generate real and lasting benefits.
We prioritize the local hiring of labor and services, promoting the economy of nearby communities. We support rural entrepreneurship and technical training, opening opportunities for productive growth and sustainable income generation.
We focus our programs on social inclusion, ensuring that women, young people and vulnerable groups have access to training processes, job opportunities and opportunities for community participation.
All of this is developed under an approach of dialogue, intercultural respect and co-responsibility.
