    • With more than three decades of experience in industries such as oil, banking, insurance, and the automotive sector, Silvana has established herself as a leading voice in the transformation of Ecuador’s energy sector. She currently serves as Vice President of Gente Oil Ecuador, the operator of the Singue Block, where she leads strategies focused on operational efficiency, environmental sustainability, and strengthening corporate governance.

Drilling Manager

He has more than 20 years of experience in the hydrocarbon sector, with a technical-operational focus on drilling and well completions. He has held key positions in companies such as Helmerich & Payne del Ecuador, Repsol, Petrobras, Petroproducción, Ivanhoe, Consorcio Shushufindi and Petroamazonas.

Throughout his career he has held roles as Assistant Rig Manager, Operations Engineer and Operations Superintendent in Charge, leading teams in the field and ensuring the efficient execution of drilling projects.

Currently, at Gente Oil Ecuador, he is responsible for drilling and completing wells in Block 53.

Fernando Ramirez
Facilities Manager

Professional with more than three decades of experience in the energy sector, specialized in mechanical engineering, project management, industrial maintenance and oilfield operations management. Throughout his career he has led engineering, construction, maintenance and technical services areas, as well as the integral operation of temporary and permanent facilities.

He has held management positions in production, facilities management, technical support and shop floor supervision, demonstrating a solid ability to lead high performance teams and optimize processes in demanding contexts. His approach combines rigorous academic training with strategic and operational skills, contributing to the efficient and sustainable development of the operations under his charge.

Currently, he leads project management, installations and maintenance at Gente Oil Ecuador.

Marlon Diaz
Geology Manager

Geological Engineer with more than 23 years of experience in exploration, development and reservoir management in the oil industry, both in Ecuador and abroad. He has led projects in the Oriente Basin, Magdalena Basin (Colombia) and Elk Hills (USA), specializing in 2D/3D seismic interpretation, reservoir evaluation, petrophysical analysis, geological modeling and reservoir simulation.

He has worked as Exploration and Development Geologist, Exploration Coordinator and Manager, and currently leads the reserves development and management strategy in Gente Oil Ecuador. Extensive experience in specialized software (Petrel, OFM, ZMAP, Powerlog, among others) and postgraduate academic training. He has published multiple technical studies in international conferences and has been a university lecturer.

Fernando Velasquez
Operations Manager

He has more than 25 years of experience in the hydrocarbon sector, developing a solid track record in drilling, well completions, production facilities and operational management. He started his career in Helmerich & Payne, and was Field Manager in Tecpetrol. Later, he assumed the position of District Manager in Weatherford, leading the operations in the bases of El Coca and Machala.

He currently serves as Operations Manager at Gente Oil Ecuador, where he manages the Singue field operation. His leadership has been recognized with his appointment as President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Ecuador Section, for the period 2022-2024, and as a member of the organizing committee of the SPE-ATCE 2025 event, to be held in Houston, Texas.

Michelle Bosquez
Administrative Financial Manager

Professional in Accounting and Auditing with more than 20 years of experience in sectors such as oil, food, services and manufacturing. She currently works as Administrative and Financial Manager at Gente Oil Ecuador, where she leads financial planning, tax management, human resources, purchasing, assets, technology and community relations.

She advises on internal control processes and operational efficiency, and ensures compliance with accounting and tax regulations. She is proficient in national and international standards (NEC, IFRS) and in the SMA accounting system. Community Relations Manager

Engineer in Environmental Management and Conservation, with more than 15 years of experience in social management, socio-environmental conflict resolution and community relations in strategic mining and state projects. She has led articulation processes with authorities, local leaders and community actors to facilitate drilling campaigns, socialization of projects and negotiation of access in areas of direct and indirect influence.

She has worked as Regional CSR Coordinator, Emblematic Projects Coordinator and Conflict Analyst in public and private institutions. Her approach is oriented towards participatory management, community mediation and territorial sustainability. She has extensive experience in socio-political diagnosis, development of social investment projects and strategic communication in contexts of high social complexity.

Professional with more than 20 years of experience in the oil sector, specialized in field operations, production and well stimulation. He has led technical teams in important companies, standing out for his ability to optimize processes, manage resources and ensure regulatory compliance.

He worked at the Secretariat of Hydrocarbons, within the strategic sector, in the Production area. He is an expert in Coiled Tubing, hydraulic fracturing and matrix stimulation, as well as in ISO integrated management systems.

He has led power generation and high-pressure pumping projects, and has international training in management and leadership, with a focus on leading high-performance teams.

He currently serves as Field Manager at Gente Oil Ecuador, leading with efficiency and strategic vision.

She has served as Contracts Manager, Senior Strategic Procurement Manager, Contracts and Purchasing Administrator, and Internal Control and Cost Coordinator at companies such as Gente Oil Ecuador, ENAP SIPEC, Petroamazonas EP, and OXY. Her expertise focuses on contractual risk management, resource optimization, budget control, and the generation of operational efficiencies. She has extensive experience in strategic negotiation, regulatory compliance, stakeholder relations, and leading complex processes in highly demanding environments.
