GAIA 2024 Awards Symposium
We participated in the GAIA 2024 Awards Symposium, organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), an event that recognized companies that are integrating sustainability, innovation, and social commitment into their operations.
During the meeting, recognition was given to the project “Cities That Read, Cities That Innovate,” developed in partnership with the Swiss NGO GetAbstract, an initiative that promotes access to knowledge as a driver of transformation and development.
Separately, the “gender-based violence prevention” project was also highlighted among communities in the company’s immediate area of influence, reaffirming that the company’s impact extends beyond its operations and is focused on building safer and more equitable environments.
The participation of Daniel Varela, Head of Environment and Corporate Social Responsibility, and Santiago Salvador, Head of Human Resources, demonstrates that when sustainability and talent management are driven by a strategic vision, the results have a far-reaching impact and generate real value for society.
This recognition does more than just highlight projects.
It reinforces a clear stance: business leadership is demonstrated through concrete actions.
