What are we measuring, and why is it important?

In accordance with environmental regulations, various parameters related to air quality are analyzed periodically, such as:

• Particulate Matter (PM10 and PM2.5): Microscopic particles that are critical to respiratory health.
• Atmospheric Gases: Monitoring of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO₂), Sulfur Dioxide (SO₂), Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Ozone (O₃).
• Settleable Particles (TPS): Monitoring of dust that may settle in the environment.

For data to be reliable, it must be measured using the best available technology. Our partner laboratories use reference methods from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA).

The use of these international standards ensures that our measurements are technically sound, comparable, and transparent.
